Hello From London Part 2!

Hello!

Sorry for the lack of updates...tooooo tired at night to write!
We have been having a great, jam-packed time!  Yesterday the girls and I saw WICKED and it was AMAZING!!!  They were in awe and so was I! While we saw the show Deric, Luke and Lilly had fish and chips and some beers in a near by kid-friendly pub!  They also went to Westminster Cathedral where Luke told me he "made a prayer" for baby Winnie(our niece on-the-way)...and lit a candle.

After the show we went to see Buckingham palace and the guards.  The kids hung on the gates watching them in action. We took the "tube" to Knotting Hill and had dinner and then took the kids home to CRASH!!

Today we left at 5 am for a train trip to Paris!!  It was amazing.  The train ride was about 2.5 hours and went about 150 mph..(Deric wanted me to throw that in)....Lilly was quite entertaining with her new crawling on the table talents and ear-piercing squeals.  We toured old Paris, went to the second story of the Eiffel Tower, took a boat cruise down a very important river that I cannot remember the name, and then to the Louvre.  The kids were troopers and loved the Eiffel Tower the best.  Lilly really loved the Mona Lisa.  Oh..and Olivia lost her tooth today at the Louvre...We are hoping the British Tooth Fairy will find her way here!

We are back home in our flat enjoying a glass of wine and some peace and quiet.  It is quite a job traveling around with 4 kids but we are truly loving being together.  We are quite the spectacle!  Lilly has been awesome with her vibrating laugh and has grown accustomed to naps in the stroller or in our arms...

Tomorrow we are meeting a friend Deric works with who has small kids...Going to the zoo and The Tower of London...And then Saturday off to set up our new home!!!

  2. Hi Sweet Blake! I am loving seeing you on your adventures! I went to school today and teared up when I read your poem again. I just know your new teacher is going to love you! I hope she has writer's workshop time! Just think about all of the stuff you can write about now! Guess what we got? A new yellow lab puppy! Her name is Maggie, but we call her Magpie because she always barks! We had kind of a sad tragedy with Abby our other dog. :( Miss you bunches! Mrs. Moffitt
