Years 1, 2, and 3 all Overseas

When we left Texas to start this big adventure Lillian Margaret Bryant (as she refers to herself) looked like this:
Since that day she has celebrated year 1,
(remember the icing that slid off my cake?)
Year 2,
(year of the Elmo cake, my favorite cake yet I think)

And just last week, year 3!  First 3 birthdays celebrated overseas might make
for pretty cool conversation one day.  Sure, she won't remember any of it but hey,
she'll have the blog to remind her!

Year 3.  Year of the DORA cake and the Dora party.  Lilly loves Dora.  Thank you Nick Jr. for the step-by-step instructions and template.  I was pretty pleased with the turn-out!

So was the birthday girl!  We had a little party for Lilly at our apartment
with all her little pals. (Lilly has more friends than all of us)
We had Dora crafts, Dora music and we even went on a Dora Adventure.
We did it!  We did It!  Lo Hisimos! (impressed with my espanol?)
It's her party...
Favors Ready and Waiting!

Getting Crafty!  SO thankful for these awesome big sisters who helped me SO much
with the party! Could not have managed without them!
The Map!
My great pal Dina and sweet Maya...
LITTLE ADORABLE FRIENDS!
Adventure time!  The map told us to go through LEGO LANE...
OVER Teddy Bear Bridge!
And through BALLOON LAGOON to find the missing balls that
Swiper Swiped!  (okay, yes, we watch way too much Dora around here)

After our adventure we played some pin the tail on Boots...
(Blake drew Boots!)
Yeah Nakul!  You did it!

SNACK TIME!  Most important part of a toddler party!
Fine Dora Dining with Dora background music and all....

CAKE TIME!

After the party was over it was time for some presents!

A RAPUNZEL DOLL!  Her latest favorite movie!

It was a special day celebrating a special member of our family.

The day after the Dora party was Lilly's actual birthday.  She woke to more
presents from her family and lots of sibling hugs and kisses!

I love love love this picture...
More presents!
(the gloves will be addressed in another post....)
A scooter!  Now she can scoot with all her Four Seasons peeps....You should
see all the little people on scooters around the pool...adorable!

A Bitty Baby from us...her first American Girl Doll..

Of course she has much to say about this!
After presents we had brunch where they let her cut her own cake!

Thanks to our wonderful family who made sure Lilly got some birthday presents
shipped all the way from Texas!

There was the Dora Gymnastics doll from Mama D and Pappa Terry.
This doll actually does flips...it is hilarious!

Dora, Lilly can do it too
An adorable raincoat from Aunt Nancy, Uncle Eric
Winnie Kate and Baby Jack!
Polly Pockets from Granny! She loves them!

And SHOES!  Glorious shoes from the Berkenmeiers!

Breakfast and princess shoes do go together

3.....not so much a baby so much anymore.  Not sure how I feel about that!  Lilly is
definitely growing up.....She goes to school now...

She takes ballet....
She is learning to swim with Mr. Bob
Mr. Bob gives treats..
She sleeps in a big girl bed...
She serves up a mean tea party...
She gives great make-overs

She shops with her friends...
And hosts playdates!

And yes, she even does this.
No more diapers in our house! (TMI?)

Happy Birthday to our Lilly...Somehow, I have a feeling she will always
be the baby in this family.  No matter where we are!

Cheers from Singapore!
