Three weeks back. . . . . .CHECK

Suitcases unpacked....check.

Jetlag overcome....check.

Children 1, 2 and 3 happily back in school....check.

Birthday #1 in the Bryant Birthdaypalooza season celebrated....check.

Mom getting back in the Singapore swing....sorta check.  Working on it!  It is always a challenge for me to readjust after our summer home.  So hard to say good-bye to my sweet family and friends who I have just spent 9 fun-filled weeks with!  Don't get me wrong...I love this experience and I would not trade it for the world!  And I do have some pretty amazing new pals here in Singapore!  I just feel a loss when we get back...like something is missing.  This starts our 3rd year abroad and I still can't believe all we have experienced!  I know year 3 will be just as amazing.....

We have had a busy, fun-filled first 3 weeks back in Singapore.  When the family has been apart for 6 weeks, reuniting must be celebrated....with a trip to Universal Studios!  Yep, in Singapore!  The day after Deric returned to Singapore we headed to Sentosa Island, home of Universal Studios.

Bryant 6 back together after a long 6 weeks apart!
(Lilly would like you to see the top of her head...)

Universal Studios Singapore let us adventure into some movie favorites
like Transformers, Shrek, Madagascar, The Mummy and Jurassic Park.
(No, Liv did not get glasses.  Just the accessory of the day.)
Frankenstein greeted us as we walked into the park.  Lilly did not like this.
Run Luke Run!
Coming soon....Sesame Street Adventure...I think that may mean I have to come back?

I am not a big fan of roller coasters but this ride was amazing!

Big discussion going on here about whether or not Luke should go on The Mummy ride.
He opted not to...wise choice!  It was SCARY!!
Lilly awoke from her stroller slumber just in time to enjoy her first amusement park
ride in Jurassic Park Land....The Dino Flyer...She loved it!(she speaks of it often)
Lilly is SO lucky to have all these siblings loving on her constantly..

We visited Far Far Away....Lilly is now obsessed with Shrek and the "green princess"
(Do NOT try and tell her that Princess Fiona and the "green princess" are the same person.)
We saw where Shrek lives!
The girls struck a pose with Betty Boop!

A big smooch to end a fun day! Universal Studios Singapore...Check!
Now on to the Harry Potter Exhibit that is here in Singapore...

Kids loved it...no photos allowed inside the exhibit!

First day of school phase one!  Blake and Olivia started first and then Luke 2 days later.
It was great to put these two on the same bus at the same time.
Yes, this is the bus outside our apartment that the kids ride.
 Not your average yellow bus.

Waiting patiently to greet the kiddos when they get home!
Smiles are good after a first day!
Blake is SO happy with Singapore American School....

Luke has the SWEETEST teacher Ms. Woody.  She is one of
those amazing, enthusiastic teachers that loves what she is doing!
On the first day when the kids got off the buses, Ms. Woody and"Woody"
were there to greet and show them the way!

This is the first day for Luke and 3rd day for the girls!
Finally, all three together at the same school again.

Happy, worn out kids after the first full week of school!  Now time for a birthday!
Luke turned 7 August 19.  I can't help but be reminded that it seems like just yesterday
he turned 5 in Dubai!

And now here we are in Singapore celebrating year #7!  Luke woke to lots of birthday love from his family, had lunch at his favorite restaurant and had a pool party with all his Four Seasons Pals.  A pool party with water balloons and baseball cupcakes!  I think the day was a success!

New master blaster for The Duke
When preparing baseball cupcakes, never let Lilly out of your sight!

Luke's birthday lunch was at our favorite place for dumplings,
or dim sum as they call it around this part of the world...Din Tai Fung.
We are hooked on these mouth watering soupy-dumplings!

Before being seated you must fill out your order sheet.

Leave it to the Americans to play with the chopsticks.

Quite possibly the most delicious rice I have ever eaten!
We also love the spicy cucumber salad!
Dumplings!

If you come to visit Singapore you must eat dumplings...
Sauteed spinach with garlic...another family favorite

Enjoying the birthday dumplings!

After lunch it was back to the apartment for water balloons and cupcakes with all the kids.
Luke and 2 of his favorite pals Saathi and James.

Make a wish!

The Four Seasons Kiddos!  Instant party!

Happy Birthday Luke the Duke...and many more!
