THANKFUL FOR: Family, Friends and FOOD

Yesterday we celebrated our 3rd Thanksgiving abroad.  I told our guests (22 adults and 30 children) that Thanksgiving was one of my favorite holidays.  Why?  It celebrates 3 of my favorite things:

Family, Friends and FOOD.

And without family around us much, friends and food become SO important! So yesterday we rearranged the furniture, brought in some extra tables, cooked and cleaned up a storm, got a little crafty,  and opened our home to our wonderful expat family.  It was truly an amazing day.  I think the pilgrims and my mother would have been proud.  Yes, 22 adults and 30 children.  That's what I said.

OKAY, THE PARTY CAN START.
THE PIMENTO CHEESE AND CELERY ARE READY.

All the families brought their helpers to the dinner...we could not have
