So if you would have told me last New Year's Eve that I would be ringing in 2011 at a black-tie party on a man-made island in the shape of a palm tree in Dubai I would have laughed!! HA! I mean last year we rang in 2010 with The Eagles (yes, all of them!) at my great friend Coco's New Year's party! How can you top that?! We came close this year! We rang in 2011 at The Atlantis on The Palm with our peeps.... the Sassos! Thanks to them we got to sit at a very important table with some very important people! There were people waiting on us hand and foot and the champagne never stopped flowing. This presented problems for me the next day but who needs to hear those details!! We had an amazing night dancing and celebrating in true Dubai-style. There was an amazing firework show at midnight that even our kids could see!! They stayed at the Sasso's home on The Palm and had their own little party! As you look at these pictures you will be amazed to see that it was all set up on the beach!
4,000 people were in attendance! Oh and did I mention at midnight it snowed?
Well, actually it "soaped" but hey! It's Dubai!

some rare whiskey?scotch? not sure..They brought him the whole bottle!
So here's to a New Year in Dubai and many more new adventures!
It's hard to believe that a year ago Deric moved over here and started this journey!

Looks like you guys had a great time and you looked BEAUTIFUL!!! BTW - is Deric dating that guy? Anyhow, we missed you here. I am sure the Moore's realize that they topped last year AND the year before with the New Year's Extravaganza here in Kerrville!!!
