Kids parties, adult parties, good-bye parties....we have had some fun times in the past months that can't go without mentioning.
(Sometimes, we think Lilly does some partying while we sleep. We call this party hair.)
Just last month we went to an Air Supply concert. Yes, they are still alive.
On to the partying.
There was the 80's party at The American Club. A night of bad fashion, excellent music and amazing fun with our favorite pals. Thank you Singapore Salvation Army for my stunning peach satin prom dress. A dress that I could barely breathe in and that radiated body heat.

| GREAT NIGHT RELIVING THE 80'S (I WAS IN JUNIOR HIGH IN THE 80'S BTW...just sayin) After I recovered from my trip back to the 80's I had to focus on entertaining some of Deric's work colleagues. He had people in from all over Asia and we entertained them with some Tex-Mex and cocktails.  IN ASIA SHOES OFF..READY TO PARTY!    Our guests were visiting Singapore from many different parts of Asia so we thought we would give them a break from the noodles and rice. It was time to experience some food from our neck of the woods...Chili bar and all!   MINI-LAYERED DIPS..(THANK YOU PINTEREST)   WHO KNEW YOU COULD USE A BELL PEPPER TO HOLD SOME DIP (THANK YOU PINTEREST)    THE BIGGEST HIT OF THE NIGHT.. SUMMER BEER.. RENAMED FOR THE NIGHT "SOUTHERN SLING IN SINGAPORE"  THE NEXT DAY AT THE OFFICE IT WAS REFERRED TO AS TRUTH SERUM....  THEY LOVED IT! SUMMER BEER: 1 LARGE CAN FROZEN LEMONADE (PINK, RASPBERRY ITS ALL GOOD!) 1 CAN WATER 1 CAN VODKA 1 CORONA LOTS OF ICE..... RECIPE COURTESY OF MY TX NEIGHBOR CARRIE MEADOR.... IT WAS A GREAT DAY WHEN SHE INTRODUCED US TO THIS BEVERAGE...I THINK I AM FAMOUS FOR IT NOW ALL OVER ASIA.
Speaking of neighbors, I could not have pulled off that party without my
treasured friend Dina. In Dina's life before mommyhood, she was a professional event
planner! She is amazing! Words do her talents no justice! See photos

Karaoke is well-loved here in Asia...They have these little booths you can rent
to get your karaoke on...We got home at 3AM! If you know me you know this
is not the norm. CRAZY-FUN-NIGHT.

A night out at a hawker centre could definitely be considered a party!
A hawker centre is an open air sort of food court where you can eat the
local cuisine for cheap! It is a must-do when visiting Singapore.
This night we visited Lau Pa Sat Hawker Centre..

Sometimes a party means helping those in need. On this night we attended a fashion show and shopping fair to help the children of Cambodia. It took place in an amazing home in Singapore...
