A Dubai Mother's Day

So many people ask me all the time "How do you do it?" "YOU have 4 kids?"  These questions often get asked in a manner that can be interpreted as "are you crazy?"  The truth is I am not sure how I do it.  I just take it one day at a time.  I am not perfect, I do raise my voice and I yes, I do want to run away sometimes!!!!  Our home can be loud, sometimes chaotic, and can go from clean to disaster area in minutes.  There are many sibling smackdowns and generally speaking, someone is always needing something.  Usually that is Luke and he wants food.

BUT......I would have it no other way.  These 4 little people are my biggest accomplishment.  I find my greatest joy in watching them grow, change and discover this world.  It is an honor and privilege to be their mother, their defender.  Raising them to be successful, KIND, faithful people is my full-time job that I take seriously.  Nobody slipping through any cracks!!!! And at the end of every long day, when my head hits the pillow, I always say a little thank you that God chose ME to give them to...Not sure if everyone knows this but my grandmother, Margaret King, had 8 kids.  I know she is in heaven looking after me and helping me along.....I need all the help I can get!!!

My Dubai Mother's Day was great....We had a special breakfast....I got beautiful flowers and lots of love  from my biggest fans. I had a special spa day at Luke's school and Olivia made me a special treat.
